MFH2 is an effective solution for delivering the full suite of DIRECTV® services to Multi Dwelling Properties. MFH2 leverages Single Wire Multi-switch (SWM) technology to provide DIRECTV programming and services via a single home-run wire. Additionally, this same platform and single wire can be used to deliver other voice, broadband data and other services. MFH2 is a full service solution an supports the latest line of DIRECTV SWM capable receivers and all of the features available on each model. This includes dual-tuner DVR and the new networking features available on the HD DVR.

The DIRECTV HD channel lineup is poised to offer up to 150 National HD channels. All of the new channels will be delivered via the new Ka-band satellites. MFH1 based properties will want to upgrade to MFH2 technology to enjoy these new HD channels.
